Chris2711 Posted April 28, 2013 Report Posted April 28, 2013 Hi. Can anybody advise to how I can disable the alarm on the Galaxy. It is constantly going off and draining the battery. I have been told in the past that this is a common complaint with the Galaxy alarm by a Ford dealer. The alarm service light is always coming on. Anyone else have this problem and can suggest an alternative to disconnection that won't cost the earth? Thanks. Quote
SilverBeast Posted April 28, 2013 Report Posted April 28, 2013 A 2007 is a MK3 I believe. You may have more luck posting in the MK3 section. I believe you can set the alarm to reduced guard, that will disable tilt and interior movement sensors via the steering wheel controls. It should tell you how in the owners manual. I don't have (MK3) myself and have only gleaned this from a pdf of the owners manual from the net. Quote
gregers Posted April 28, 2013 Report Posted April 28, 2013 iirc there is a known problem with the alarm module, think its found under the passenger wheel arch. Quote
